Citing the right to personal freedom of choice for all decives with an IP address, red state governors are considering executive orders to ban mandatory use of subnet masks.
“Whether we’re putting masks on our children, or devices with IP addresses, the individual must decide and not the government,” stated a spokesperson for the collective governors.
“For far too long, Ethernet connected devices have been forced to wear 255.255.255.0 whether they wanted to or not.”
