Rockwell Automation Successfully Converts Automation Fair to TSaaS Subscription

The automation industry cannot have enough “as a Service” subscription models, and Rockwell Automation (NYSE: ROK) has been able to successfully convert their annual Automation Fair event into a Trade Show as a Service, or TSaaS, model.

“The need to combine annual recurring revenue, or ARR, with keeping our customers informed just led to this natural evolution,” stated Rockwell Automation in their marketing press release.

Starting with the 2023 Automation Fair held in Boston, MA, attendees paid a general admission fee, or “annual subscription” to attend the event. With their Trade Show annual subscription plan, attendees were entitled to listening to keynotes from senior leaders, hearing about new products and solutions, and seeing product demonstrations on the exhibit floor. Additional subscription tiers were offered that provided deeper product training.
